it's all in the name

i'm here to give a lil' explanation on the choice of site name. as most of you already know, i'm a huge strokes fan. a bigger fan of them now than oasis. so when it came to thinking up of names, i decided to come up with something that had to do with them. hence, the title "you talk way too much", which is a song from their second album. (btw, i found this while searching for the song)

the url was much harder to find. every damn song title i tried came up with "Sorry, this blog address is not available ". not only that, their system didn't allow a successful name to be successful twice. at first, i came up with "strokingit.blogspot.com". (stroking here was supposed to mean "stroke-ing".) but i decided it sounded too dodgy. so i tried to find another one. when i wanted to go back to strokingit, i couldn't use it anymore. so, after a suggestion from Koon, "strokingithard.blogspot.com" was born.
