a series of unfortunate events

today has to be one of the most unlucky days for me. was going to write a detailed account, but it's too long. basically, the bus i got onto has to stop halfway. then i get caught in a massive jam that was like the worse i've ever seen in that area. then i realised that i forgot my keys and had to go chasing after my housemates. then i get onto another bus hoping to take some kinda short cut but end up missing the bus that goes straight home. and at the end of it all i was quite frustrated and felt like crying in the middle of the road.

but then i realise it ain't too bad. i didn't have to wait that long for the bus. not more than 5 minutes. and my housemates decided to stop and wait for me so that they could pass me their key (so grateful!). and i got some exercise trying to chase after their bus.

i've been very superstitious lately. i'm thinking that if small little 'good' things happen to me, then my landlord my suddenly decide not to kick us out till after exams. but since i've been feeling rather crappy and out of luck these past two days, i doubt that'll happen. just bracing myself for the bad news. d-day was supposed to be monday, but he said he couldn't find out. so an ultimatum has been given....tomorrow (wednesday).
