do you believe in karma?

been having incredible luck. my sleep has been screwed up because of holidays and also because i was sick, which i shall talk about later. so anyways, i didn't go for lectures the other day because i wanted to sleep. this was a 5-7pm lecture, you know? but when i woke up i found out that the lecture was cancelled, so i didn't skip my lecture after all. i was estatic since it was one of the hardest topics. then today, i find out that the lecture has been rescheduled to fridays... 5-7pm... every week... it's karma i tell you!

then the new year hasn't been particularly good to me either. been kinda sick since then. kicked off the new year with a slight case of elephantitis of my right hand fingers. might not look obvious in the picture but it was huge. now it's shrunken back, but i'm not sure if it's went back to the original size yet.

then as the swelling went down, i had a fever which manifested from a sore throat the night before. so spent the whole day sleeping which lead to not sleeping the night before school started then which lead to me sleeping in for lectures the next day and then not being able to sleep the next day again. see the vicious cycle.

the fever lasted a day, but the sore throat decided to stay a lil longer. until i lost my voice. totally. could only manage to whisper the whole of yesterday. if i even tried to speak it would come out in an awkward and inaudible squeak.

at least i've gotten my voice back and there was something good about the new year. but that's for next time.
