back to reality

salzburg was so pretty! it was the snow. i guess it would have been pretty in the summer too, but not so magical. i think people would be annoyed at us. we said "so pretty" at least a hundred times in those two days. vienna was the big city, so no snow. not so pretty.

the trip was great. it just felt so relaxing in those few days. it could be because it was the end of school or just because we managed to escape from studying for a few days. the food was great, the locals were friendly and the company could not get any better.

i loved the food. i guess it's not hard to like deep fried food. i don't really understand why their seafood is so popular. we saw it everywhere and just couldn't resist. starting from the top, viennesse breakfast (rolls with jam and honey plus a hard half boiled egg), pretzels, weiner schnitzel with chips, white beer, fishcake on a roll, huge ass weiner schnitzel with a huge ass serving of potatoes and a piece of alaska-something fish with a side of thai noodles. i love the pics of the food.

there were cool shops too. there was a row of shops that sold the most beautifully painted easter eggs. every single one of them decorated so delicately. they had great baubles for christmas trees too. and there was some very interesting china too.

and now i'm home and i've finished playing with the hundreds of pictures. it's time to get down to some serious work.
