back to normality

barcelona

i'm done with malam bakti and i'm back from barcelona. so it's back to the normal quiet a.k.a. boring life.

i just don't know what to do with myself now. holidays have started and for the past few days i've been watching america's next top model and full metal panic 2.

malam bakti went very well. at least that's what people told me. but they can't say it sucked, right? it wasn't perfect but from what i could hear backstage, it was an uproar after the first act. and we sold out! people were standing. woohoo!

still haven't seen it yet. for the first time i didn't watch the actual play. just waiting for the vcd. being backstage also meant no photos. i do have a few from after the play but they all look bad. at least i think i look bad... so i won't show them.

but i'm glad. it was a good experience. and it was fun. feels weird now it's over. but it's all good. i just can't wait to watch it and then show it to everyone.

going to barcelona right after it wasn't a very good idea. when we arrived, we were all zombies. we even went back to the hostel to take a nap before going out for dinner. but the trip was good. a nice break from london, with sun, warm weather and cheaper food. had all the paella and sangria till i was sick of it. actually, it was just the paella i was sick of.

the shopping was addictive. it's not that it's dirt cheap, it's just felt like i had to get something from there since it's the home of zara and mango. so i got some stuff. and to anyone who's planning to ever go there. keep ur belongings close to you. real close. two of my friends lost their purse on the first day. we don't know how, but the pickpockets are really good.
