on the first anniversary of my 21st birthday
yeah, i got that from scrubs. so, i celebrated my recent birthday with a bunch of friends. it was good. i don't know if it's just different here or what. but i never could've found 29 other people to celebrate it with me before. yeah, it was good. thanks to lisaleong and mei yen and su yen and whoever, i have no idea who was in it, but thank you.
so we had a malaysia-thai dinner. no drinks. didn't get drunk. just had dinner and talked or whatever i could muster with my sore throat. then i got cakes. two cakes because all the candles couldn't fit on one.
mmm... i liked the chocolate strawberries. then now to show off my presents. i love presents. who doesn't love presents. first, i got a very cute and oh so useful soup dish (plate or whatever). then i got kill bill dvd's. woohoo! and building blocks of paris. a great gift as you get older. no, i'm honest. i also got a soccer chair. which i think is so hilarious. now i just have to find the strength to blow it up. oops...forgot to mention the lovely flowers i got.
and last but not least. the coolest present (not that i didn't like the earlier ones)...
woohoo! i'm going to watch the strokes.
ok, this was all a very boring recap of a very exciting night. i apologise. i guess as time goes by, my enthusiasm faded. i got nothing to tell but still, i wanted to show it off. more here.
so miss leong, i'm not ungrateful. if only you were a lil' more patient.
a few gems from the internet that i would like to share with you guys. firstly, this is really good. things like this they never teach you. but it made me think, is home really the place to be.
and to everyone who went to secondary school with me, you should take a look at this. i love that school, but thank god i'm no more there. seems like rubbish to me. and if she happens to pop by, "thank you debra fong". fumbled onto the site. actually, say koon did.

well, its made in a way that u cant do shit about it. but then again, mahathir has said, "if you rely on crutches, you will forever be lame, break free of them while you still can". the only consoling fact, is most of them are already lame, but still blissfully thinking that they are somewhat in control of where they are heading. their mindset has always been complacent and adverse to change..
