hard work pays off
you know those 2p machines you find in london. anyone who's ever been here must've seen them. it's a uk thing i think. they're loads of fun! i just found that out. i always wondered why people play that. was it for the money or for the prize. 'cos it just looks impossible to win. but today we got those two (bad photo skills) with just a modest capital of 70 coins.
that stupid game is actually quite exciting. you hold your breath as you wait for the coins to push further forward. then when the toy drops. whee! yeah, i'm easily amused. and yeah, we got a lot of time on our hands...
... 'cos it's the holidays again! but it's the bad kinda holiday. it's the you've gotta really work your ass off kinda holiday. which is the worst time of year. i finish my exams on the 26th of may. super super early. but not like i can go home any earlier.
i wish i could. but i would only if i needed to come back here again. spending more time here isn't going to be nice. although i sure as hell gonna miss this place, it's more because of the people than the actual place. but then everyone will be gone and i'll be here to stay on on my own. and not making sense. *sniff*
so anyways... i'm starting the holidays off with a trip to austria and then it's back for 8 weeks of hardcore studying. i'm such a pig this year. i feel less motivated than ever. *sigh*
a note, i think the 2000th person to visit here is ms. leong again. hmm...
